CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW


Organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, the Chelsea Flower Show is the world's most famous flower show. Each year more than 160,000 visitors stroll around the gardens of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. Her Majesty the Queen and members of the Royal Family attend a preview of the show. The Principality of Monaco will be participating for the first time on May 23 to 28, 2011.

  • JAPANESE GARDEN OF MONACO


    On a site blessed by a head Shinto priest overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the Japanese garden of Monaco was designed by the landscape architect Yasuo BEPPU. It is based on the principals of Zen philosophy where stone, water and vegetation all combine together in perfect harmony.

  • INTERNATIONAL FLOWER SHOW


    Presided by H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, the 44th flower show, will take place on the Casino Terraces on May 7 and 8, 2011. The bouquet presented on the stamp was widely acclaimed in the "Ocean Currents" category at the 2010 contest.
